WOMEN UNITED!

What If? One Woman's Purchase Could Change Another Woman's Life?

#OrangeCampaign

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund). Ldny partnered with UNTF on the #OrangeCampaign. We enlisted the support of international designer Daniella Helayel, one of the most sought-after womenswear designers in the world and the talent behind Catherine Middleton’s iconic engagement dress. The dresses, along with matching scarves, were designed in eight exclusive orange prints.

For Ldny

“It is an honor to be involved in such a dynamic project and my pleasure to support the much needed work of the Ldny Foundation and the United Nations Trust Fund. The power of fashion has a tremendous effect on women across the world and elevates the lives of women, giving them both an income and a voice. I truly believe that this is a wonderful chance to serve a global community and sisterhood. Orange is not only the official colour of the UN Trust Fund but also the colour of spirituality and I hope these orange dresses will inspire and embody the essence of this campaign “Women United.”

CORPORATE #OrangeDays

We kicked off the #OrangeCampaign with two days of activities at Goldman Sachs in London & Hong Kong, during which many senior women at the company wore dresses from the collection to work, to signify unity and support for women affected by violence. Goldman Sachs men also supported the campaign by wearing orange ties, including Global Chairman and CEO Lloyd Blankfein and Mike Sherwood and Richard Gnodde, Co-CEOs of Goldman Sachs EMEA. The orange dresses were later showcased at a dinner at the National Portrait Gallery. Attendees included Sir Martin Sorrell, model Olivia Inge and opera singer Camilla Kerslake.
